Notable Dates in C.U.E.A.'s History

1989

Launch of the Easter Frolic.  

1990

Frolic held in Antigua. Initative taken to invite more members to become involved.

1991

The first Chairperson of the Association - Ms Valerie Stephenson of Grenada - was elected, who was instrumental in developing a draft constitution for the Association.

1996

The first elected Executive Officers to run the affairs of the Association for the period 1996 through 1998.

1997

The Constitution was adopted, and as a result the Association was fully launched. Clubs were required to be registered with a payment of an annual subscription fee of $300.00 U.S. 

1998

The name 'Easter Frolic' was changed to 'Easter Festival'. 

1999

First magazine entitled EASTERLYN was launched. 

2000

The execution of the first Community Project and first ever Ms. C.U.E.A. Pageant which was won by Nevis. 

2001

In November , the C.U.E.A.'s web site went online courtesy the Telecommunication Services of Trinidad and Tobago and the Water and Sewerage Authority of Trinidad and Tobago.

2002

Official launch of CUEA's website www.cueawi.org in Barbados. 

2003

First publication of the CUEA Flash.

2007

No Easter Festival due to World Cup Cricket in the Caribbean.
